We are a team of Innovators, Researchers, Engineers with diverse backgrounds, who are passionate about building technology that can help better understand the processes of life to ultimately enhance health quality.

In 2012, a group of researchers came together for the PicoSEC Marie Curie Initial Training Network initiated by CERN with the aim of researching ultrafast photon detectors. The core team of Praana, Inc. originated with this project. The researchers worked with high energy physics group at Academia Sinica in Taiwan to develop compact and high resolution PET systems that can change the way we currently image patients. These adaptable systems have a wide application base from neurological diseases, to oncology and particle therapy.

Presently we are actively collaborating with hospitals to perform tests on our novel technology. With a fully developed product in hand with immense potential and an emerging market, we are actively seeking business partnership to take our technology into the world and to help save valuable lives.
